A leadership development program for graduate students designed to enhance leadership awareness and skills, as well as personal and organizational values
WHEN IS IT?
The weekend retreat is August 18-20 and 7-8 follow-up sessions will be held during the rest of the academic year
WHO CAN APPLY?
Graduate students entering their 2nd through 4th year (as of Fall 2017) whose PhD thesis is Bioscience/Bioengineering related
Attend the leadership weekend retreat, August 18-20, 2017.
(NOTE: Hold this weekend open on your calendar as this is required for all participants)
Attend all 7-8 follow-up sessions during the 2017-2018 academic year
HOW DO I APPLY?
Submit a one-page essay indicating why you are interested in participating
Submit one reference letter from your advisor in support of your application
Send materials to Kathy Huggins.
WHO IS INVOLVED?
The faculty contacts for this program are Prof. Johnna Temenoff (BME), Prof. Terry Blum (Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship), and Prof. Mike Davis (BME). Participating faculty include Robert Thomas (ILE) and Kathleen Kurre (ILE).
